I finally pulled the trigger and bought a vintage Noct from KEH. This lens is great for shooting wide open at f1.2. I've also had the Nikon Z 50mm f1.2, and while the images are sharper from the modern lens, this lens is much easier to carry around. I also recently purchased a Nikon Z8, and at 20 frames per second I can simply rack focus and pick the image that's in focus later on. It really has made shooting with these vintage lenses much more enjoyable.
That being said, the focus on this lens is a bit stiff at points. I'm looking for a service that can handle this for me, before I stupidly try to do it myself. At roughly 3k for this lens, I'd rather leave servicing to a professional.

Re: Nikon 58mm f1.2 Noct
Thanks for the info. Looks straightforward enough. I still can't muster the courage to open it up. I might try the naptha trick. The focus barely sticks, just being hyper critical.
