I can't say enough good things about this lens. It's incredibly sharp right from 2.8, and the ability to shoot 2x macro shots is impressive. I use this lens for portraiture, hiking, and macro photography. It's amazing to be able to shoot a nature portrait session and macro photography at the same time. I paired this lens with a Nikon Z8 and honestly don't miss not having autofocus. The burst rate of the Z8 is fast enough that I can fire off a bunch of shots and choose the shot that's in focus later. I would be comfortable using this lens during a wedding as well. Headshots and the ring shot all with one lens. Laowa did a great job with this one.
