I bought the GFX 100s and then two weeks later they dropped the 2nd version. I returned the 100s and got the 100s II. I haven't really noticed a big difference. It's nice to have 102mp but I often find myself grabbing my Nikon Z8 for most things.

Doesn't seem like enough of a reason to upgrade unless you don't already have the 100s. Then the 100s II may be worth the additional costs, although difficult to find used. Personally, I'll be moving from the 100s to a used 100 ii. That's a more noticeable jump in features and performance.
