AI Modification for Nikon 105mm f2.5

One of my favorite lenses is the Nikkor 105mm f2.5. It's small and incredibly sharp. Unfortunately, I purchased a non-ai version back in the digital slr days and botched the AI mod. Basically took away too much metal. Now that I'm shooting mirrorless, the AI mod is no longer an issue since the adapter doesn't have that aperture feeler. There's not really a problem using the lens as it is but I'd like to make it perfect. I'm wondering if there's a way to find just the aperture ring for that lens. And If I find the AI version, will it fit?
