Stenopeika Large Format Camera

I just bought this Stenopeika 8x10 large format camera and have so many questions. I found a Fuji 300mm f8.5 on KEH to pair it with and the results have been great. This being my first 8x10, I don't know if the build quality is good or poor. The camera has been working fine but I've noticed some of the washers on the front standard are small enough to squeeze through rails so I may replace these with metal washers. I also noticed that the flexible "leaf springs" that hold the film holder are plastic and may eventually break. I'm not sure if those are really called leaf springs but that's how I think of them. I'm curious to hear from others with this camera and if there are better options. It's not that I don't like the camera, I just don't where it falls on the quality scale.
